Artist in Alabama looses cane in Alabama and recruits web friends across the continent, most of whom have never been in the same room as the artist or the cane or perhaps have never even been in Alabama, to find said lost cane.

Fri, April 22, 2005 - 8:48 AMIt's also a matter of cane-idiosyncracy. I've fallen off a bike a couple of times, and have used a cane for periods of 2-4 months. I remember laying it down and forgetting to pick it up around the time I was ready to walk unaided.
I know which closet my cane's hiding in now. Jamie will find his cane when he needs it again. Or the cane will find him, grasshopper. -

i rarely use it as a walking aid but it does help my posture after long hours of painting -

A little Pilates would do wonders for your posture! I haven't used a cane or taken drugs for pain since I learned it. No equipment needed.
