Camp Minglewood is located on a private lake in the western Catskill Mountains of New York State near the Delaware River and the Pennsylvania border. The camp is just 120 miles from New York City, between Monticello and Binghamton.

Complete with theaters, pavillions, dining hall, a huge lake, lots of room for tent camping, cabins and mini bunk house rentals, RV parking, beautiful grounds, private and friendly, this venue is very special!

The location of Harvest Fest could not be more ideal! The site is used in the summer as a performing arts camp. Camp Minglewood offers accomodations usually not offered at an outdoor music festival.

The main stage will be located in a large, open-sided circus arena. Our late-night entertainment includes late-night DJs (indoors), as well as a late-night band theater. Vernville and the Yelo Sub will host the Earth Stage and show movies both evenings in the campground. This year a new campground stage will be added to the mix, as well as a "bar" stage.

This is the famous Harvest Festival which is a benefit for, and meant to raise awareness about, reforming marijuana laws. It began in the apple orchards around Lembo Lake (Murphy's Law, Disco Biscuits, Col. Bruce and more) in Modena, NY in 1995. In 1997 we moved to Earlton Hill Family Campground, in Earlton, NY (which featured Max Creek, Vassar Clements, Buddy Cage, and the Ominous Seapods among others) In 1998 the festival was held at the Logging Camp (Pine Mountain Reserve - Garth Hudson, Buddy Cage) in Johnsburg, NY and finally landed in 1999 at Echo Lake (David Nelson Band, Merl Saunders, Deep Banana Blackout). We called Echo Lake home for five years and went on the move again. 2004, our 10th annual was held at the Moose River Park, in Lyonsdale and featured Richie Havens, The Persuasions, Melvin Seals and was an amazing time! 2005 was no different in Bainbridge at Tall Pines, with the New Riders of the Purple Sage, Project Object, Tony Vacca and more. 2006 found us at an amazing site called Camp Minglewood, where Particle, Vince Herman, Jen Durkin, Mistic Bowie and all of you brought Harvest Fest to a new level! 2007 is being planned now and is sure to be one of the Fest's not to miss!

This event acts as the main fundraiser for NY NORML - Proceeds benefit pro-freedom activism in NY
