Greetings Friends!
I hope your summer is sweet and that you are growing in ways that surprise you! I was recently invited to lead/faclitate a drum jam on July 4th at Farragut Square in Washington, DC. I accepted!
Now, i invite you to join us in our nations capital to stand up for religious freedoms. I especially invite our local Soul Fire Inside family to come forward and help to hold a container of radical transformation through the drum circle that we will co-create!
We all know how important the issue of religious freedom, really is, Right?!?!?!?!
The First Amendment of The Bill of Rights, states:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Please come out and show your support for tolerance, for choice and respect for religious freedom. Let your voice be heard, if you agree that EVERY Vet has a legal entitlement to be laid to rest, with the sign of his or her faith on their tombstone!
If you are willing and able, come out and show your respect for a Wiccan soldier, who served our country and lost his life. Show your support to his family, by Showing Up! and creating harmony in a diverse interfaith community. Bring your instruments, an open heart and a willingness to be all you can be!
Whether you come in person, or connect through the ethers, please gather your intentions and share your spirits energy as we intentionally open the gates that have previously blocked this expression of religious freedom.
On July 4th, 2006 @ 3pm, we will drum and dance our dreams into reality. you are most welcome to join in!

Religious Rights Rally
July 4th, 2006, Noon to 4pm
Farragut Square, Washington, D.C.
Join us for a Religious Rights Rally supporting universal religious tolerance.
Speakers include:
Rev. Barry Lynn of Americans United for Separation of Church and
State, Phyllis Curott, Jared Leland, Esq., of The Becket Fund for
Religious Liberty, Rev. Selena Fox (of Circle Santuary, Wicca/Pagan),
Roberta Stewart, widow of Sgt. Patrick Stewart (Wiccan soldier who
died in Iraq who has been denied a VA headstone marker because of his
religious beliefs), and many others. Many members of the Lady Liberty
League team who have been involved with this will be flying in also.
Come and show your support for the approval of the Wiccan Pentacle on
the tombstones of our fallen heroes.
Mz. imani, and Circle, Skin & Bone will facilitate a drum jam begining at 3pm. Bring your instruments!

There is a request for this to be a respectful rally and to remember
we will be joined by the rainbow of religious organizations and
traditions and faiths other than our own. This quest is about the
freedom for all religions to express themselves.
Military personnel should remember to honor their integrity around
not wearing uniforms. However veterans are welcome to do so.
